Honor Flight
www.honorflightsc.com
The Honor Flight Network program was conceived by Earl Morse, a physician assistant and Retired Air Force Captain. Earl wanted to honor the veterans he had taken care of for the past 27 years.
Inspired by his 93 year old father, ATO brother Bill Dukes decided to begin a chapter of Honor Flights for South Carolina. His father, Sgt. William E. Dukes, served in World War II 60 years ago and earned several awards including the Purple Heart.
On Bill’s return to Columbia, he made a commitment to see what he could do about providing an opportunity for other World War II veterans to see their memorial. He became familiar with National Honor Flight Network and decided to contact them. He shared his idea with several close friends and they joined him in creating Honor Flight South Carolina.
All money raised for Honor Flight South Carolina comes from private donations.
We are proud to join our brother, Bill Dukes, in helping to raise funds for such a worthy cause. We must never forget the sacrifices the greatest generation of Americans made for their country.
